Google Ads Adsense Payment Collection (ICBC) Tutorial

When Google AdSense earnings reach the default payment minimum threshold of 100 USD, Google AdSense will transfer the payment via wire transfer within the payment period. Receiving this payment is not complicated, and this article explains how to receive it using an Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) account.

Add Payment Information

Open Google AdSense, find "Payment - Payment Information - Manage Payment Methods - Add Payment Method";

Optional fields do not need to be filled, including intermediary bank;

The remaining information can be found via the "ICBC Mobile App". Simply register the "ICBC App", which is easy;

Open the ICBC mobile app, search and open "Remittance Information";

Just fill in the details and set it as the primary payment method, then save;

Once the minimum payment amount is reached, Google AdSense will transfer the payment on the payment date. The minimum amount and payment date can be set by yourself;

Wait for Payment

You can check for automatic payment information in Google AdSense. If payment has been made, you will receive a payment receipt similar to this;

Be patient for a few days, as wire transfers are not immediate. After the bank receives the funds, they will call you (at the account-opening branch) and ask some questions, answer truthfully;

Usually, they will ask you to provide proof documents such as a contract to verify the source of the funds. If you have the proof documents, provide them. If not, continue reading;

The author was not at the account-opening branch, but the bank added me on WeChat, and later I just sent them the proof documents when I received them. The service attitude may vary by branch;

In fact, after I received the bank's call, the payment was credited to my account, and the proof documents were provided later;

Apply for Proof Documents

You can apply for proof documents from Google AdSense as follows:

Open https://support.google.com/adsense/contact/payment_page_error

Your Publisher ID can be found in your Google AdSense account information;

Select the second submission option, do not repeat the process;

After that, you don’t need to do anything, just wait for an email reply. Google AdSense will send you an email within a few days;

After receiving the email, inform them that the bank has received the payment, and that a proof of cooperation document is required. Request the cooperation proof document and include the recipient’s name (in Chinese and English) and the receiving bank (in Chinese and English), for example:

The bank has confirmed receipt of this payment but requires a contract proving the legal source of the funds to complete the transfer;
Therefore, I would like to apply for a cooperation proof, here is the information I need to provide:

- Recipient: Zhang San San Zhang
- Receiving Bank: Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited

Then, do nothing and be patient. I waited for more than 20 days (during the Spring Festival) to receive the proof, which was provided by Google AdSense (China);

The attachment is the proof document provided by Google AdSense and an online agreement from Google AdSense. Just provide these two documents to the bank;

Final Step - Withdraw Funds

Once the bank credits your account, you can use the funds, but you need to convert them to RMB first;

Open the "ICBC Mobile App", search and open "Foreign Exchange" - "Settlement", and choose USD;

• Transaction Account: The account where the funds were credited;
